A Vegan Review: Panera Bread

Panera Bread has built a reputation for serving freshly baked breads paired with foods made from healthy and fresh ingredients.

They have locations all over the United States and they have taken the fast casual food market by storm.

So if they are offering a healthy alternative to normal fast food, I’m thinking that means they must offer some great vegan and vegetarian options and boy do they! (:

Nothing is quite as filling and delicious as warm soup and fresh bread and that is exactly what I get every time I go.

My Order: A bowl of black bean soup, in a sourdough bread bowl with an apple.

The great thing about this order is that it is right off the menu and therefore it is really simple.

You will see this soup on the menu listed as ‘Low-Fat Vegetarian Black Bean Soup’. It makes an appearance at your local Panera Bread on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!
